several questions
Question #1: I have r/me pvp only char that I really like.
I have already unlocked a minor rune of marksmanship. Let's say I unlock the major rune of marksmanship. When I create a new pvp only character, will I have access to both the minor and major rune of marksmanship? Or is that it once I upgrade it. Question #2: I love using rtw. It makes my arrows move twice as fast.. but wait.. so does favorable winds. I know the two preps stack.. but do the effects stack? I mean do your arrows go four times as fast if your using fw and rtw? or is it just two times. Cause if it is only two times.. then your kind of wasting a skill slot, as +6 dmg isn't that much. |

There's a thread on rtw and fav. stacking around here. I don't think the speed stacks, but the damage does, but only in a certain order according to the tester (I think rtw and THEN fav. winds)

There used to be a bug with the speed stacking, I tested it recently and while I'm not 100% certain, it did appear to stack.

Favorable winds and RTW does in fact stack in both speed and power, but Favorable is NOT a preparation, it's a spirit. Preparations do not stack.
So for example, you can't stack apply poison and RTW. Personally I think Favorable is just a big waste, I stick with just RTW to save room and time, and I can interrupt well enough with just RTW. If you aren't an interruptor, I would suggest bringing a different preparation such as apply poison. If you ar a barrager, you shouldnt even have preparations because they're removed when you use barrage, and barrage is a spamming skill. |

Yep..pretty much all what they said..Anything you unlock through PvE can be unlocked on your PvP characters by using your faction points. And when you purchase a new rune or new weapon upgrade while on your PvP character, you have to remake your character..the runes don't stack, the better one overides the other, so even if you have say a Minor expertise and a major, only the major would work. And as for RtW, just use that, more often than not, if you're playing in randoms, there's ALOT of other rangers in there that bring their own favorable winds..so borrow off that..gives you an extra skill slot anyways .

Read the Wind is 4x arrow speed and Favorable Wind is 2x arrow speed, if they stack you should have arrows at 8x the original speed.

Last I heard, RtW was meant to be 2x, as was FW, causing them to stack to 4x. RtW is bugged, however, and presently gives 4x, both alone and when stacked with FW; as such using both gives no further speed increase.
